Hello, we are Loom.

We make creative and artist-led projects happen, by weaving together people, partners and places.

Our services

  • We help artists and creative practitioners to realise ambitious projects - often involving communities or rooted in a particular place.

We have a team of efficient and experienced producers who can support your project, whether a one-off event or long term programme.

  • We help organisations and businesses who want to commission artists or cultural programmes. This might include:

    • Research and Scoping

    • Developing Cultural Strategies

    • Community Engagement

    • Cultural Programming

    • Artist Liaison and Management

  • We help creative people and businesses think through their ideas and turn them into reality. Our expertise includes:

    • Project / Concept Development

    • Fundraising and Sponsorship

    • Partnerships and Community-building

    • Advising on Project Management

Our approach

  • Start local

We know the value of local knowledge, and starting with someone who’s connected to a place. The projects we work on are hyper-local, useful and responsive to a particular need.

By working with Loom you will have the chance to become connected to our in-depth expertise, knowledge and contacts in London’s fastest growing creative hub, Park Royal - but we also work across London and beyond, ensuring we find someone with a local connection to inform and support our work.

  • Simplify and connect

We want artists and creative businesses to spend more time creating and less time on chasing funding or navigating complex tenders.

We can help bring together the people you need on your team, spot opportunities for funding and investment, and facilitate new ways to work with local partners to ensure a successful and impactful project.

  • Build equity

We often work on projects that aim to empower people to shape and change their part of the world in meaningful ways. We know that this is not easy and can bring many challenges.

We are committed to continual learning and reflection to ensure that our work with people is equitable, inclusive, supportive and mutually beneficial.

  • Pricing

Every client and every project is different and so we operate a sliding scale of payment depending on your circumstances and our current capacity. We can offer fixed project fees or retainer models.

We always retain a space for one pro-bono consultancy client each month, to support emerging artists and socially-conscious projects. By working with us, you will be helping to fund more of this type of work.

Working with us

  • I've been working with Loom for the last few months, on getting another iteration of Absolute Beginners off the ground. It's been amazing. Partly because Grace and Tom both know their stuff, and have helped me work out what kind of funding is out there, who to go to, and how to get it. But mainly just having someone in your corner, to use as a sounding board, and get some feedback. So much time in the art world is spent thinking about things on your own - to have someone on the end of the phone is brilliant. 10/10, would work with again.

  • Panel has had the pleasure of working with Grace on a place-based project focusing on connecting artists with communities across Park Royal. Grace's expertise lies in strategic thinking and helping to make ideas become reality. She is a champion and a necessary advocate for design and making, identifying their relevance to place and articulating their intrinsic value across many areas.

  • As a small company with lots on the go, it is often hard to think about how to develop your business to create stability and sustainability in the long term. Having Grace on our side has been a massive help in creating a more strategic approach to creative business development. Working alongside Grace and Loom Projects has been a very refreshing experience, and as another female-founded business, we are excited for what this collaboration will bring!

  • To help deliver the Old Oak & Park Royal Food Festival, OPDC commissioned Loom - a business in the heart of Park Royal with strong local connections, a specialism in creating community partnerships, and a proven track record of producing successful events. Their profound understanding of the local dynamics and nuances enabled them to create a captivating festival that resonated with the residents, businesses, and visitors of Old Oak & Park Royal.

This first event exceeded all expectations! A jam-packed programme from morning until night, with the perfect flow of guests throughout the day and such positive feedback from the community that we’re already looking forward to organising the next one. Any business that chooses to have Loom on its team is making the best decision and very lucky. I would highly recommend them.
